These terms govern your use of Your Budget Buddy (the "Service"), provided by DuSay & Company ("we", "us"). When you use the Service you are contracting with DuSay & Company. By creating an account, purchasing, or continuing to use the Service, you agree to these terms.
The Service
Your Budget Buddy is a personal household budgeting tool for planning income and expenses and tracking spending. It does not move, hold or invest money and does not provide financial advice. Access is sold as an annual subscription that renews automatically each year at the then-current price (currently $1.04 USD plus any applicable tax) unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can cancel anytime from your account; access continues until the end of the paid year.
Your account
You must be of legal age to form a contract, provide accurate information, keep your login details confidential, and you are responsible for activity under your account.
Acceptable use
- No unlawful use, fraud or spam.
- No infringement of anyone's intellectual property.
- No interfering with security — including malware, probing, scraping or circumventing access limits.
- No reverse engineering, reselling or redistributing the Service.
Intellectual property
DuSay & Company owns the Service, its software, documentation and branding. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it for personal purposes. Budget data you enter remains yours.
Payments, billing and refunds
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund terms are set out in Paddle's Buyer Terms and our Refund Policy.
Service level and warranties
We do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" without implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
Liability
Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or data. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury where the law does not allow it.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or end access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. Budget data saved in your browser stays on your device.
