DuSay & Company is the data controller for personal data processed through Your Budget Buddy. This notice explains what we collect, why, and your rights.
What we collect and why
- Account data (email, display name, login credentials) — to create your account and provide the Service (contract).
- Purchase records (order ID, product, status) — to unlock and verify paid access (contract, legal obligation).
- Technical data (IP address, device and browser details, basic usage logs) — for security, fraud prevention and fixing problems (legitimate interests).
- Support messages — to answer your questions (legitimate interests).
Your budget figures and spending history are saved in your own browser and are not sent to us.
Who we share it with
- Service providers that host and run the app (hosting, database, authentication).
- Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record, for selling the product, payments, tax compliance and invoicing.
- Professional advisers (legal, accounting) where needed.
- Authorities where required by law.
International transfers
Our providers may process data outside your country, using safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
Retention
We keep account data while your account is active, and purchase records as long as tax and accounting law requires. Data is then deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can access, correct, delete, restrict or port your data, object to processing, withdraw consent, and complain to your data protection authority. Contact us through this website; we respond within one month.

We use encryption in transit and access controls. We use only essential browser storage to keep you signed in and save your budget and theme — no advertising or analytics cookies.
